August 24, 2015

ByteCubed, with its strong track record of introducing new and transformative technologies to federal government agencies, was awarded a 5-year contract from the Department of Defense (DoD) to support the Office of Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy (MIBP) with their program support and development.

The Office of MIBP seeks to ensure robust, secure, resilient, and innovative industrial capabilities upon which the DoD can rely to fulfill warfighter requirements. MIBP is the principal advisor to the Office of the Under Security of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics on all matters related to the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). It encompasses a vast range of responsibilities to include: developing DoD policies and procedures; improving industrial capabilities to meet planned, ongoing, current, and future defense requirements; and reviewing the national security impact of foreign ownership of U.S. industrial facilities.

“We are excited to provide our wide-ranging services in using innovative tech solutions to help MIBP proactively identify areas of risk in the DIB,” said Ahmad Ishaq, CEO of ByteCubed. “Our goal is to provide timely, relevant, and informative data that actively tracks the health of the DIB in support of the warfighter.”

The contract for MIBP began on August 7, 2015. For any inquiries, contact: Ashley N. Scott (Director of Government Affairs) at ashley.scott@bytecubed.com.
