Last week, ByteCubed joined the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Wait, What? Future Technology Forum held in St. Louis, MO that was headlined by the Honorable Ashton B. Carter, Secretary of Defense, as well as other senior Department of Defense and industry officials. Secretary Carter opened the forum with a speech to the gathering of 1,200 scientists, engineers, and innovators from across the country and toured the forum’s showcase of new technologies.
The 2015 forum was a fast-paced gathering at which world-renowned thinkers and innovators from inside and outside DARPA offered their perspectives on where today’s advancements are heading. Forum attendees were able to engage with expert speakers during multiple themed breakout sessions, allowing them to dive into particular topics. The exhibit area featured displays describing a selection of DARPA programs that reflected the breadth of the agency’s work and range of its performers.
Tatiana Sullivan, who attended the forum on behalf of ByteCubed, was able to network and interact with other participants from the science and technology industries.
“The Wait, What? Future Technology Forum was an outstanding opportunity for DARPA to showcase their recent work and research to the science and technology community,” said Ms. Sullivan. “It was great to see all the next-generation technologies that DARPA has been developing and to network with fellow innovators in the industry with similar goals as ByteCubed.”
